Introducing Volterre

Volterre is a three-generation family project inspired by Dick Volpert, the family’s patriarch and a passionate wine collector. Dick moved to California in 1959 and quickly discovered his love for the wines from Northern California. As an early collector, he purchased many wines on release in the 1960’s and 70’s.

Dick’s love of wine was passed down to his family, whose years of tasting and learning about wine spurred their desire to create Volterre. Our goal is to create and offer exceptional and uncompromising wines that respect the unique terroir of the extreme West Sonoma Coast.

We are dedicated to producing the highest quality wines from this incredibly special place that will be enjoyed for generations to come. We look forward to welcoming you into our Volterre family.
